My Gifts Inventory started from a small, familiar annoyance: gift idea lists that all read the same, and gift cards sitting in a drawer with no easy way to check what's left on them.
We publish two kinds of pages. Gift guides, organized by who you're shopping for, the occasion, and your budget, built around products we'd genuinely consider buying ourselves rather than whatever pays the highest commission. And gift card balance check pages, a straightforward directory of official balance check links and phone numbers for hundreds of brands, so you don't have to hunt for them yourself.
My Gifts Inventory is a small, independent operation. Every page follows the same standard laid out on our How We Pick page. Real prices checked at the time of writing, real ratings, and official balance check details that are only published once verified against the brand's own site. If we can't verify something, we leave it out rather than guess.
A wrong phone number on a balance check page, or a gift guide padded with filler nobody would actually buy, wastes your time and, for gift cards specifically, can cost real money. We'd rather publish fewer pages we're confident in than a lot of pages we're not.
