Affiliate Disclosure

In accordance with FTC guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, here's a plain explanation of how My Gifts Inventory makes money from this site.

We are an Amazon Associate

My Gifts Inventory is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through the Amazon links on this site, at no extra cost to you.

What that means in practice

When you click a product link on a gift guide and buy something on Amazon, usually within a set window of time after clicking, we may receive a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go to Amazon directly. The commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not yours.

What it doesn't mean

Affiliate commissions never decide which products make it onto a list or how they're ranked within it. A product earns its place because we would genuinely consider buying it ourselves for the person and budget described, not because of its commission rate. See our How We Pick page for the actual criteria we use.

Gift card balance check pages

Our gift card balance check pages are not affiliate content. The official balance check links and phone numbers we list go directly to each brand's own site or support line, and we don't earn a commission from them. They're published as a free reference tool.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you'd like more detail on a specific link, a dedicated contact page is on the way. For now, questions are welcome and we're working on making that easier to reach us about.
