Three Ways to Check Your Nintendo eShop Balance
- Online — visit the official balance checker. You'll typically need the card number and the CVV/security code from the back of the card.
- Phone — call 1-800-255-3700 and follow the automated prompts. Have your card number ready.
- In-store — There is no in-store balance check. On a Nintendo Switch, open the Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu, select your account, choose Enter Code, type the 16-character code, and view the value on the confirmation screen. You can back out without adding the funds. The shop will also tell you if the card was already used. After redeeming, check Available Funds or Current balance via your user icon in the eShop, or sign in at accounts.nintendo.com and go to Funds and Payment Methods.
